Even though we manage most of the Grieg-vessels, some are managed by other companies to provide benchmarking and learning opportunities. Grieg Star acts on behalf of the shipowner towards those external companies.
Being an owner’s representative entails acting as a trusted intermediary and advocate for the shipowner’s interests. As all our vessels are either owned or chartered by Grieg Shipowning, we represent the owner in many situations. We coordinate with ship managers and provide expertise and guidance on technical matters, performance optimization, and commercial decisions. We also act as problem solvers, addressing any issues that may arise during vessel operations and working towards effective resolutions.
