Hege Leirfall Ingebrigtsen new CHRO in Grieg Star

Hege Leirfall Ingebrigtsen will join us as Chief Human Resources Officer on the 2nd of November. She will immediately go in to be a part of the management team in Grieg Star.

“Hege is an experienced organisational developer who has proven herself in several demanding positions over the years. She is the perfect addition to our team, and I am very pleased we have been able to attract such talent to our organisation. She is someone who will help us build our business, focusing on growing competency in all areas of the organisation,” CEO Matt Duke says.

Leirfall Ingebrigtsen joins us from the position as deputy CEO at Senab Eikeland and Magnar Eikeland, a significant Norwegian supplier of office furniture and solutions. Before that, she worked five years as HR manager at the same company. She has also been head of Center for Performance Development at what is now Nord University for three years.

Additionally, our new CHRO has some experience in the sports world. She was a member of the Board of the Norwegian Football Association, including some time as deputy Chair. She also sat as Chair of the Board of Bodø/Glimt, one of the Norwegian top football clubs, until 2018. The position in Grieg Star is her first in shipping.
