Our team of Vessel Managers are in charge of the technical management of a fleet of 27 ships within the Open Hatch segment. Would you like to be one of them?

 

As a Vessel Manager in Grieg Star, you are responsible for the management of a group of vessels, and you will work closely with the Master and Shipboard Management Team. We trust you to manage, evaluate and better the vessels’ overall performance. Safety, security and client satisfaction are of the highest priority to us, and you will have a vital role in ensuring and developing the desired HSEQ standard onboard. You will actively participate in the digital transformation and continuous improvement of the company. To sum up: we trust you to help us build and maintain world-class ship management operations.

We are preferably looking for a person with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in maritime technical studies, however, other relevant education and/or experience are also welcomed. Competency within the electrical systems onboard a ship would be an advantage. Do you have a proven track record within ship management or a strong understanding of digital tools and solutions? Then you may be a perfect fit for us.

The position reports directly to our Vice President Fleet. We offer a flexible work environment and a competitive remuneration package.
